Tulsi Gabbard: Evidence Obama team created false intelligence assessment

Under the guidance of President Trump and with the support and coordination of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, we have published today the report of the rogue oversight team produced in September 2020. The stunning revelations we are releasing today should concern every American. This is not about Democrats or Republicans. It is about the integrity of our democratic republic and the faith of American voters that their ballots will be counted.

There is clear evidence detailing how President Obama and his national security team orchestrated the creation of an intelligence community assessment they knew was false. They knew it would advance the artificial narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, and sold it to the American people as if it were true. It was not.

The report we published today shows in great detail how they did this. They manufactured findings from poor sources. They suppressed credible evidence and intelligence that disproved their false claims. They did not adhere to the traditional standards of the intelligence community and concealed the truth from the American people. In doing so, they conspired to undermine the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump in the November 2016 election.

They worked with their partners in the media to promote this falsehood, ultimately undermining the legitimacy of President Trump and carrying out what would become a years-long coup against him and his administration.
